How to Use Il Uno Pizza Dough Balls
STORE IT: Store your dough balls in the freezer at -18°C until you’re ready to get cooking. Keep cartons off the ground and rotate stock accordingly.
DEFROST IT: Take out the dough balls you need for service and place in a floured tray. Leave in the fridge overnight until the centre is soft. Dough balls can be left chilled for up to 5 days.
PROOF IT: Once defrosted, take the dough balls out of the fridge and cover, let them sit at room temperature for 2–4 hours to proof.
TOP IT: Dust with flour, then stretch or roll your dough to around 12 inches (or any size you like). Rustic or round - there’s no wrong way. Then add your the sauce, cheese, and toppings.
BAKE IT: Cook until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are fully cooked. Times will vary depending on your oven and how loaded your pizza is.
Pro tip: hotter ovens = crispier bases.
